Introduction

Established in 1987 in Lahore-Pakistan. This state of the Art Publishing House besides innovation in Printing of Books has specific dedication towards Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, a thinker of Islam and Quran of his time.  Maktaba Jamal proudly presents almost all available works of Moulana Azad. The significance of works of Moulana Azadis is acceptable even today. The teachings of Moulana Azad are still valuable for the Muslim and particularly for the Pakistani people.

Maktabla Jamal also published poetry of Ghulab and Allama Iqbal with explanatory notes to understand the inside message and philosophy of the poetic imagination. Allama Iqbal and Ghulab are both very important poets in Urdu.

The contribution of Maktaba jamal towards spreading the teaching of Iqbal and promoting the poetry of Ghulab is prominent amongst the Iqbal and Ghulab Lovers.

Maktaba Jamal has special interest in promotion of tourism in Pakistan. We have very diverse cultures in Pakistan with their own traditions. To introduce and explore the delight of the diversity of different cultures of Pakistan, we published books on History of Hazara Division, Kashmir,  Gilgit and Baltistan.
